Why disappointed? Well, I've been coveting a pair of Westward Leaning sunglasses, with their colorful mirrored lenses, for a while now and saw my lost sunnies as the perfect excuse to indulge. A striking new campaign from the California brand, shot and styled by photographer Todd Norwood, might just push me over the edge.

Setting out to create a line of "fashion objects" that would be both useful and precious, French designers Marie Macon and Anne-Laure Lesquoy settled on artfully embroidered accessories as the bones of their eponymous collection launched in 2009. Designing both cheeky iron-on patches and delicate hand-stitched pins, Macon & Lesquoy lend an air of whimsy to the fine art of embroidery, with accessible prices to boot.

Collezione Sospesa by Moreno Ratti
My obsession with all things marble continues, this time finding its focus on a new trio of minimalist vases designed by Moreno Ratti for Marmo Trilogy. Crafted in Carrara marble and blocks of resin, Collezione Sospesa would perfectly offset showy springtime blooms now that the season has arrived.

Working from home certainly has its perks (sweatpants, puppy snuggles), but no matter how I try, my home office style will never match the likes of this.
Masquespacio is a multidisciplinary design studio based out of Valencia, Spain, that relied heavily on postmodern and Memphis styles in the recent redesign of its brand image and studio. The new brand identity comprises seven on-trend colors, allowing Masquespacio to change its color palette annually and to customize branded stationary for its clients.

A tad dramatic? Perhaps. But I'd been eyeing Veja's unisex marble Esplar sneakers—a collaboration with Diapers and Milk—for spring. It seemed I'd waited too long to place my order until I finally managed to track down the last pair in my size from a Belgian boutique. Except, of course, I hadn't. Womp, womp!
Veja, the eco-friendly French label, has become my go-to sneaker brand ever since I purchased this comfy gold and black pair last fall. After fawning over the marble Esplars for so long, nothing can replace them in my mind, but it does seem I have a slew of marble sneakers to choose from...

Designing Death with MT Objects

Between organic tree burial pods and a booming funeral concierge business, it seems we have quite the morbid fascination with a beautiful afterlife. Now, pastel-hued, ceramic funerary urns by Mexico City's MT Objects make it possible to die as artfully as one lived.

The Perfect Bridesmaid Dress by Self-Portrait isn't a Bridesmaid Dress at all
So... March came out of absolutely nowhere and, with it, kinda/sorta/almost spring. Wedding season is nigh, and I'm absolutely obsessed with these delicate lace Azaelea dresses by British label Self-Portrait for decking out a bevy of bridesmaids. Just imagine a trail of mismatched pastels strolling down the aisle. (I still regret that I wasn't privy to the multi-hued bridesmaid trend back in 2013!)
