To Tweet or not to Tweet?
Nevertheless, I do think that Twitter is the best way to keep up to the minute when it comes to blogging. Pop-up stores, new design innovations, sample sales - they all seem to be announced first on Twitter, and I think it may be time for me to give in.
I have no doubt that Twitter will provide me with plenty of fodder for The Well-Appointed Catwalk. But I worry about being over-connected. How much time can one devote to the constant stream of news that social media provides? Will Twitter end up replacing my RSS feed and streamlining things, or will I end up sitting in front of my laptop for twice as long each day?
When it comes to a Twitter feed for The Well-Appointed Catwalk, well, that's another story all together. I assume if I go that route, I'll end up tweeting my blog posts and retweeting all the interesting snippets I come across each day but don't have time to write about. Maybe the blog will even pick up a few new followers if I'm lucky.
Please leave me some feedback in the comments. How has Twitter impacted your lives, and what would you like to see in a Twitter feed from The Well-Appointed Catwalk?
Oh, and one final question - why is Justin Bieber always one of the top trending topics on Twitter? How many 13-year-old girls are using this ish?!
