Giveaway: Win a $150 Minted Fabric or Art Print

Minted has released its latest trend report, showcasing its original art prints and home fabrics against fall's runway trends. Swoon! I just love a good design crossover. Patterns swing from bold and abstract to nature-inspired, and like all Minted designs, each is created by an independent artist from one of 40 countries around the world. With designs unique to the online marketplace, and loads of printing and framing options, these are prints (and fabrics) that are a serious cut above.

But here's the best part: I'm teaming up with Minted to give one reader $150 toward any Minted art print or fabric!

Giveaway: Win a LeSportsac Summer Travel Set

I was tempted to keep this perfect summer travel set for myself, but I've partnered with LeSportsac to give it away to one of you lucky ducks instead. If you've been keeping up on '90s icon, you know that LeSportsac is once again killing it with a slew of gorgeous prints, not to mention collabs with everyone from Rifle Paper Co. to Olympia Le-Tan.

The set that's up for grabs includes LeSportsac's Large Weekender in Bali print, Small Reversible Beach Tote in Reversible Bali print (reverses to Malibu print) and XL Rectangular Cosmetic case in Malibu print. The value of the prize is $235, but showing up at your friend's beach house so perfectly coordinated is kind of priceless, isn't it?

Boden Fall London Collection
Boden Rainy Day Mac ($178) / Skinny Ankle Skimmer Jeans ($78) / Pattern Sweater ($118) / Chic Ankle Boot ($178)

Two giveaways in two weeks? Yep, that's just how much I love you! This time, the prize is a $150 gift card to Boden to celebrate the British brand's latest collection, which landed earlier this week. The London-inspired fall collection is full of goodness for work and weekend, like the ridiculously cute Rainy Day Mac coat in Westminster print (above), which shot to the top of my wish list as soon as I saw it.

Giveaway: Win Rockport's Tassle T-Bar Sandals for Wedding Season

clockwise from top right: Bauble Bar Crystal Shard Drops ($84) / Tibi Fiore Di Cactus Dress (SALE: $297.50) / Aurelie Bidermann Vintage Lace Cuff ($845) / Rockport Seven to 7 T-Bar Tassle ($130) / Diane von Furstenberg Lytton Clutch ($395)

As if your Facebook feed isn't proof enough, we're deep into wedding season, my friends. In addition to all the love and warm fuzzies, weekend after weekend of nuptials generally means Sunday morning hangovers, achy feet and more mason jars than you know what to do with. At least Rockport can solve one of those problems.

Kate Spade Saturday Opens in Boston Tomorrow (with a Sweepstakes)

Kate Spade Saturday summer lookbook
Kate Spade Saturday summer lookbook

Well, this is great news for the weekend: Kate Spade Saturday is coming to Boston! Opening this Saturday (see what they did there?), the new location at the Prudential Center marks the fifth U.S. store for Kate Spade New York's little sister brand.

Saturday launched in Japan in 2013, followed by e-commerce in the U.S. and stores in New York, L.A., Houston and Honolulu. As is it goes with little sisters, Saturday is hipper, less preppy and (best of all) less expensive than its elder.

To celebrate its Boston opening, Saturday has teamed up with JetBlue to give 10 Bostonians trips for two to Bermuda, including hotel and airfare. Make your way to Newbury Street near the Pru on opening day, and look for employees handing out free Saturday totes, each containing a golden ticket à la Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Then, bring your golden ticket to the new store to find out if you've won. Considering the size of our little city, I'd say your chances are pretty darn good.

Check out more photos from the Kate Spade Saturday summer lookbook after the jump to see what's in store for the weekend.

Giveaway: Win a Custom Clutch from Sew Sarah R!

top to bottom: Pink Ikat Diamonds / Navy Chains / Navajo Lavender

Nothing does justice to a little black dress quite like a pop of print, so in the midst of wedding season, I'm turning to Sew Sarah R. The local lady behind the brand, Sarah Ramondt, launched her line of colorful clutches last year, when a search for personalized bridesmaids gifts eventually landed Sarah at her sewing machine.

Now, Sew Sarah R offers custom clutches in any combination of 61 fabrics, three frame styles and five frame colors with personalized interior labels. There are even options to add a photo-print liner, monogram or purse chain. But not to worry if you're feeling overwhelmed by choices: There are plenty of ready-made clutches for sale, as well.

To enter to win your own custom clutch from Sew Sarah R, make sure you're following The Well-Appointed Catwalk via RSS, email, Facebook or Twitter, and then leave a comment below describing the clutch you would design.

For extra entries, share the giveaway on Facebook and/or Twitter (for a maximum of three entries total), and leave separate comments for each entry below. The giveaway will remain open until the end of Monday, July 22, at which point I will randomly choose a winner.

Good luck, everyone!

Win a Custom Suit from Indochino

SPONSORED GIVEAWAY

Men of Boston: Back away from the Celtics jersey! It's time to step up your game and suit up!

Indochino, the leader in custom online menswear, is opening a brick and mortar pop-up shop at 234 Clarendon St. in Back Bay from March 22 through April 15, and they're giving one Well-Appointed Catwalk reader a custom Essential Collection two-piece suit to celebrate.

While the Boston pop-up shop will certainly make it easy for locals to get measured and choose their fabrics, this giveaway is open to all since Indochino ships internationally. (They'll even send you a tape measure to ensure your made-to-measure suit fits just right.) To enter the giveaway:
  1. Follow The Well-Appointed Catwalk on either Facebook or Twitter
  2. Follow Indochino on either Facebook or Twitter
  3. Leave one comment below telling me you've done so.
For an extra entry, you may share news of the giveaway on Facebook or Twitter and leave one additional comment below.

Entries will be accepted through the end of the day on Friday, March 22, at which point I will randomly choose a winner to be announced the following day.

Regardless of who wins, Bostonians should sign up for an appointment with Indochino's traveling tailor here. Prices are remarkably reasonable for a quality custom suit, and registering for an appointment in advance entitles you to a complimentary dress shirt and gift set with any suit purchase.

Good luck!

Giveaway: Maison Martin Margiela for H&M

SPONSORED POST

Leather Bag by Maison Martin Margiela for H&M ($149)

Since I have to draw the line somewhere, I've decided that I don't camp out for clothing, no matter how beloved the designer. So, alas, I missed out on last week's collaboration between H&M and Maison Martin Margiela. By the time I got to my local outpost, this quirky little glove clutch was long gone, along with the perspex-heeled booties - the two items on top of my wishlist.

But lucky for you, H&M is giving readers of The Well-Appointed Catwalk one last chance to snag the leather glove clutch in black. To enter to win the clutch, follow The Well-Appointed Catwalk via RSS reader, email, Facebook or Twitter, and leave a comment below. For extra entries, you can share this giveaway on Facebook and/or Twitter for a maximum of 3 entries per person. Please leave a separate comment for each entry.

I will accept entries through the end of Tuesday, November 27, and will announce the winner the following day. As always, the winner will be chosen randomly. Bonne chance!

Rent the Runway Goes Social + a Giveaway

SPONSORED POST

Not long ago, I wrote about the phenomenon of "real people" in fashion campaigns. With brands like J.Crew and Lanvin using ridiculously good-looking people off the street to shill their goods, the non-model as model has already been done to death. But it looks like Rent the Runway just raised the stakes.

With the debut of Our Runway, Rent the Runway has introduced the first-ever online social shopping platform. Instead of relying on non-models who look like models, Our Runway incorporates user-generated photographs of perfectly ordinary women in dresses - bad lighting, photo bombs and all. How has no one thought of this before?

The real benefit of Our Runway is the ability to view dresses on women who share your body type. With the Find Women Like Me tool, just enter your height, bust size, dress size and age. Then sit back and view thousands of women with comparable shapes in dresses available for rent.

In case you've been living under a rock and aren't familiar with Rent the Runway (it has over three million members!), the site lets women experience designer dresses and accessories at just 10 to 15% of the retail price. Choose a style from one of 160+ designers, and Rent the Runway will send you two sizes to try on and borrow for either four or eight days. Then just mail your goods back in the handy pre-paid envelope. Rent the Runway even has on-call stylists to help you shop, and you can book a dress up to six months ahead of time for a special occasion.

To celebrate the launch of Our Runway, Rent the Runway is giving a $100 gift card to one lucky reader of The Well-Appointed Catwalk!

There's no greater compliment than when someone comes across interesting design and thinks of me. That's exactly what happened when my dear friend Jamillah of made-to-travel sent me a link to these tiny works of nail art by Alice Bartlett.

Pre-Fashion Week Giveaway: Footzyfolds

Cockwise from top left: Footzyfolds Snake Ballet in Fuchsia / Nika in Black / Velvet in Wine / Lace-up in Grey

Roll-up flats were my saving grace during New York Fashion Week last year. Seriously, whoever came up with the idea is a genius! That simple pair of shoes had me hoofing it all over the city until I arrived at my destination, whereupon I folded them up, stuffed them in my clutch and slipped on my heels. Easy peasy.

So, with another NYFW just over two weeks away, I'm thrilled to be partnering with Footzyfolds to offer one of you their rollable, foldable footwear. Impressively, the fall 2012 line has moved beyond the standard roll-up ballet flats to include folding loafers, lace-ups and even boots.

To enter to win a pair of Footzyfolds in your choice of color, size and style:
  • Follow The Well-Appointed Catwalk via RSS, email, Facebook or Twitter
  • "Like" Footzyfolds on Facebook
  • Leave a comment below
  • For an extra entry (total of two entries), you can Tweet about the giveaway or share on Facebook and leave a second comment below.
Remember - no more than two entries per person please! Extra comments will be deleted. As much as I love my international readers, this giveaway is open only to residents of the U.S. Entries will be accepted though midnight on Monday, August 27, and I will choose a winner randomly the following day. Good luck, everyone!

Giveaway: Fred Perry's British Invasion

U.K. retailers quietly began landing on Bostonian shores a few years ago, planting outposts of Ben Sherman, Jack Wills, Ted Baker and All Saints along the length of Newbury Street. And with last week's opening of a Fred Perry shop at 301 Newbury, we can no longer ignore the inevitable: The British are coming!

Thankfully, this invasion involves far more style and far less tea than the last one, and to celebrate, Fred Perry is hosting a giveaway on The Well-Appointed Catwalk. The folks at Fred Perry were kind enough to let me choose the prize, so I went for the Slouchy Hobo Bag shown above. In its deep chocolate shade, subtly imprinted with the iconic laurel wreath logo, I'll be more than a little jealous of whoever wins it.

Here's how it works:
  • To enter, follow The Well-Appointed Catwalk via RSS, Twitter, Facebook, Friend Connect or Bloglovin', and leave a comment below.
  • For an extra entry, Tweet about the giveaway and/or share on Facebook by including a link to this post.
  • Leave a separate comment for each entry. There is a maximum of three entries per person.
  • Remember to include your email address or some way that I can get in touch with you.
  • Giveaway is open to U.S. residents only. Sorry, foreign friends!
  • I will choose a winner randomly at the end of the day next Tuesday, June 5th.
Even if you're not the lucky duck that gets the hobo, anyone who presents this mailer at the Boston store by June 3 will get 20% off their purchases.

Not local? Well, I spoke with brand managing director John Flynn at last week's opening party, and after plying him with enough free beer (I kid, I kid), he let me in on Fred Perry's expansion plans. Click through to see where the brand may land next, along with my party photos...

According to Flynn, either Austin or San Francisco will be the next city to get a Fred Perry store and, no doubt, a kickass opening party like this one.

Giveaway: Jason Wu for Target

My beloved Patriots may have broken my heart, but at least Sunday left me with some Jason Wu to dry my tears. That's right: I joined the other crazies at my local brick and mortar Target store, threw some elbows around and walked away with a pretty decent haul of Wu's diffusion line for the chain.

Giveaway: Baubble Bar Hematite Earrings

Black Diamond Hematite Drops from Bauble Bar

I wouldn't run off to NYFW only to come back empty-handed. I received two pairs of these lovely earrings from Bauble Bar in my IFB Conference gift bag, and now I'm sharing with one of you.

Bauble Bar's Black Diamond Hematite Drops are made of dark Swarovski crystals set in an oxidized base, and they're dripping with gothic glamor.

To enter the giveaway, just follow me through Google Friend Connect, Bloglovin' or Twitter, and leave a comment below. I will choose a winner randomly on Wednesday, September 21.

Good luck!

Giveaway: knot by TIFFA

I'm very excited to be hosting this giveaway for a bow tie from knot by TIFFA.  The ties speak for themselves, and the story behind this label is pretty darn cute, too:
Creative Director Tiffany Rogers and CEO Cory Thompson bonded over their first cold and lonely winter together in New York City. For Christmas 2010, Cory got tickets to a concert for Tiffa. Tiffa got Cory a bow tie. She knew it would be the perfect gift, but what she didn't know was how hard it would be to find a bow tie of any significant design to fit into Cory's eclectic wardrobe. From the frustration surrounding the lack of modernization of this essential men's accessory, knot by TIFFA was born.
I know these ties are perfect for dapper dudes, but I also know how creative my female readers are, and I'd love to see what you could do with one of these.

To enter to win a bow tie of your choice, be sure to follow me on Friend Connect or Blog Lovin'. Then, visit knot by TIFFA, and let me know in the comments which bow tie you would choose. I'll announce the winner on Monday, July 4th.

If you just can't wait, though, knot by TIFFA is offering 30% off and free shipping until noon today to celebrate Gay Pride weekend in New York. Just enter the code EQUALITY at checkout.

One last thing: As I begin to work with a few select brands, I want to make a promise to all of you that I will only be choosing brands that I believe in and that I think offer something of value to you. I agreed to host this giveaway because, frankly, I think knot by TIFFA's bow ties are awesome. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to email me.
