Holiday Gift Guide: For the Jetsetter

If you spent any time traveling over Thanksgiving weekend, you know how important it is to travel in comfort (stylish comfort, of course). So, today's gift guide is for the jetsetter—for that semi-nomadic friend who is always taking off for parts unknown or for the slightly less glamorous business traveler who is endlessly crossing time zones.

For either, a versatile black tote will keep carry-on gear close at hand, while Furla's cosmetic cases keep lotions and potions organized. A matching luggage tag and 2015 notebook from Gigi New York ensure no little detail is left behind, and a cheeky "First Class Forever" passport cover lets TSA know know where your giftee really belongs. For long flights, layers are a must, like this oversized cashmere cardi. Theory's cashmere pillow and sleep mask set, along with shearling-lined slippers from Marc by Marc Jacobs, bring another level of comfort. In-flight entertainment comes courtesy of  ultra-pretty headphones (this "oil slick" version is also killer!) and Luxe City Guides that cover Europe, Asia and the fashion capitals. Finally, jetsetters can keep plane-parched skin hydrated with This Works' moisturizing mist, while a rose gold watch keeps your traveler right on schedule for connecting flights.

Check out my other gift guides and my Pinterest board for more inspiration, and be on the lookout for more holiday gift ideas over the next couple of weeks.

  1. I'm not a traveler by any means but I have been on some trips and I totally think you're spot on with this list! I'm loving the cardigan, head phones and pouches.

  2. Ah those headsets! If only they were not that expensive!! The eye mask is a must have when travelling by plane. I remember few years back Air France gave us one during the Montreal-Paris flight...it helped me sleep indeed and I've kept it (but never used it again)!
