Paraty House by Marcio Kogan

photo by Nelson Kon [via AnOther]

When I first saw the caption on this photo on AnOthers Loves (a great source of inspiration) I read it as "party house." Seems appropriate, no?

Designed by Marcio Kogan architects, the Paraty House juts out from the rocky cliffs on an island between São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Accessible only by boat, visitors cross a metallic bridge over a reflecting pool to reach the entrance of the property. (Quite the exclusive party house!)

Another has an interview up right now with their photo assistant about the Paraty House, but as the visual person I am, I went in search of more photos...

Now that I'm a couple years away from 30 and have officially become an old lady, I haven't been doing much partying. But I can certainly see myself here, lounging poolside and barbecuing with a whole bunch of friends, a dj and a few Caipirinhas.
