Patterned Walls

Suzanne wallpaper, Marcel Wander Couture Collection for Graham & Brown

One of the reasons I started blogging is that it gives me an opportunity to explore all of the things that are too outlandish, expensive or impractical to ever find a place in my home or my wardrobe. To my dismay, it turns out that one of these things is boldly patterned wallpaper.

Living in an open loft space means that plastering an entire wall is pretty much out of the question. That leaves the bathroom, but I'm not confident enough in my design skills to go all out with pattern in such a small space. I'm terrified I'll end up with some kind of Tim Burtonesque chamber and be overcome by vertigo every time I go to brush my teeth.

I've been meaning to ask one of my artist/designer friends to help me choose a neutral pattern for the bathroom, but until then I'll just continue to ooh and ahh over these:

Family Tree & Tree Bomb by Ferm Living

Alphabet by Basso & Brooke for Graham & Brown

Damsel by Tempaper & Monaco by Flavor Paper

Frekvenssi by New Wall

Daydream & Treet by Julia Rothman for Hygge & West
