Think print is dead? Let Coverjunkie change your mind. The frighteningly addictive site is dedicated to the most creative magazine covers from around the world—or, as Coverjunkie describes them, "covers you wanna lick." It's true. I'm only a few pages deep, and I've already added a couple dozen covers to my collection in a Pinterest-like fashion.

MSGM Resort 2016

With family in town for the past week and a half, I haven't been paying nearly as much attention to the resort collections as I should, so thanks to my friend Yurie of YKnot Bowties for letting me in on the amazingness that is MSGM Resort 2016.
MSGM designer Massimo Giorgetti drew on cartography for the collection, translating bird's eye views of Milan and New York in embroidery, and looking to landscape architect and artist Roberto Burle Marx for a multi-color graphic print. What results is a bright, linear collection full of stripes, zigzags and even a floral or two, and I can't tear my eyes away!

New Mademoiselle Lighting Collection by Lladró

I've never been one for kitschy figurines, but iconic Spanish porcelain brand Lladró has gone refreshingly modern with its new Mademoiselle lighting collection, and I kind of love it. Transforming its figurines of ladies into functional objects, the new collection includes four individual hanging lamps and three chandeliers with 9, 18 and 25 lights combining the four models.

Geometric One Pieces by Eido Swimwear
With beach season in full effect, I'm crushing hard on these geometric-print one pieces from Eido Swimwear. Drawing inspiration from Dries Van Noten, Jeremy Scott and Bottega Veneta, Eido designer Tayo Ishola translated the warped, asymmetrical stripes and diamond patterns that she saw on last winter's runways into these futuristic one-shoulder suits.
The Puzzler-Girl sports a bold multi-linear graphic in high-contrast black and white, while the Creator-Girl shows off a playful, Tetris-like cubist pattern. And, at $69 and $80, respectively, the price is right, too.
Happy sunning!

Designer Discovery: CFDA Award-Winner Rosie Assoulin

all photos by Sophy Holland, TM 2014, RMA Brands LLC & Wildflower Brands LLC [via Rosie Assoulin] |
Having launched her label with a Resort collection in 2014, Assoulin has flown somewhat under the radar until now, especially when compared to fashion darling Mansur Gavriel. Yet, Assoulin's feminine, structured pieces have already found a home in some of the country's most exclusive stores, including Louis Boston, Kirna Zabete and Bergdorf's. With the CFDA Award now in her pocket, Assoulin is set to step straight into the spotlight.
While Assoulin's latest collection for Fall 2015 is stunning, full of textured wools and velvets, it's this year's Spring/Summer looks that have me feeling inspired as temperatures begin to rise. Take a look...
