A Fine Mess by Alarma

Creating a wedding registry means looking at an inordinate amount of dinnerware, and while these didn't make the cut, they certainly do make me smile. Using fancy-schmancy ceramic printing technology, photo-realistic images are printed on each piece of A Fine Mess porcelain dinnerware.

That is, they will be printed once the project is crowd funded. As of now, the Alarma design team has raised $4,940 of its $120,000 goal, with only 17 days to go. Some avant-garde restaurant needs to step up to the plate and make this happen!

A Fine Mess is offered in two 12-piece sets, each consisting of four dinner plates, four bowls and four side plates...

A Fine Mess Set 2

The first 500 to back the project can buy either of the two sets for $110, while the full 24-piece series will go out to the first 1,000 backers to pledge $200. If all goes well, A Fine Mess will ship in September.

  1. Absolutely love these the prints are super realistic. They'd spice up a dinner party if you served your food using this little set.
