Devil in the Details: Fendi Spring 2013

How to choose a favorite among the weekend's shows in Milan? Jil Sander was a perfect exercise in minimalism, Dolce & Gabbana a perfect exercise in quite the opposite. Bottega Veneta held on to its place in my heart as a forever favorite, while Fausto Puglisi wriggled its way in anew.

But Fendi had the details down. Futuristic, modernistic, Lego-reminiscent accessories in muted sorbet hues, with models made up to match.

Apologies for the blister closeup, but the shoe is worth it.

  5. Those details are uh-maze. And also oddly remind me of those little candy dots that come on paper. You know what I mean? Clearly, I'm just a little bit hungry...

  6. A shoe like that is absolutely worth the blister! Gorgeous details. I'm even feeling the avant-garde eyeliner - especially with the matching sunnies!

  8. Oh that eyeliner is like magical. LOVE LOVE LOVE.

And damn! I did not even notice the blister until you mentioned it, obviously distracted by shiny things.
