'20s Roaring In

I try to stay away from celebrity gossip and paparazzi pics; really, I do. But when my girl crush is all decked out in flapper finery, how can I resist?

Photographers captured Marion Cotillard on the Brooklyn set of her latest film, tentatively titled Low Life. Starring alongside Joaquin Phoenix, she plays an Ellis Island immigrant sucked into a world of burlesque and prostitution.

Try to ignore the Ugg boots and focus on the sheer amazingness of this costume. If this is even a fraction of what we are to expect from the film, we're in for a treat. I mean, did you see Midnight in Paris? Bitch can channel the 1920's like no other.

With Cotillard as a flapper and Carrey Mulligan as Daisy in this year's adaptation of The Great Gatsby, I have no doubt the roaring '20s are about to take over as the it-era of fashion. (Bye bye, 1970's. It's been real.)

After the jump, a few pieces to get you ahead on the trend...

Clockwise from left:

Goorin Bros. Tina Flapper hat, $125
Loren Hope tassel lariat necklace, $88

I realize the Gucci dresses are a stretch for most of us, but aren't they stunning?
