Ever since I started this thing last winter, I have been amazed by the warmth and support of the blogging community. I launched The Well-Appointed Catwalk as a creative outlet, even as a mode to get my name out there as a freelancer, but never in a million years did I expect to meet so many amazing ladies both online and in person. I used to make fun of people with Internet friends; now I have them.
One of the newer ones is Bella from Bella Gets Real, who chose me as her Friday Featured Blogger this week. Thank you, Bella! You totally made my day. Bella's latest post mentions Willy Wonka in Smell-o-Vision. Need I say more?
I also want to thank long-time commenter Blah Blah Becky, who tagged me in her "I Love Your Blog" interview.
Both of you are exactly what makes all the hard work of blogging worth it!

ReplyDeleteI know exactly what you mean. I always thought the sound of internet friends was so dorky and reserved for people who play WoW or Second Life. But, I'm amazed by all the relationships I've made through my blog. I mean - look at us as an example! I'm going to start getting sappy about moving, but I'm definitely going to miss the Boston blogging circle. I can't wait to see you all tomorrow!
