Monster Bash

Halloween is my favorite holiday. Maybe it's because my birthday parties were always Halloween-themed (I was born the 27th), or maybe I just like dressing up. But once the leaves start changing, I've got ghosts and ghouls on the brain!

I think this Boldfacer's event will be the perfect way to get in the spirit. Now I just have to get my costume together. Any good ideas?

  1. Um.. no sorry! We don't get into Halloween in such a big way. Why is that I wonder?

  4. Hello nearly miss birthday girl!
They don't celebrate in Greece either! Bummer!
I once went to a party as Jack Sparrow from Pirates of the Carribean... It's actually really easy to replicate his look! I plaited some fake hair together to do the double chin braid thing with beads, stuck it on my chin with eyelash glue and piled on the liner, had my hat, sword & a gazillion belts around my loose shirt! I ended up winning the fancy dress comp! lol!

  7. I realy like Poe...but I'm nostalgic for Halloween's as a child. Trick-or-Treating was the only thing that made me want to wear a costume, I just don't feel the same need these days.

  12. Thanks for the nice comment on my blog! I'm a fan of Halloween too but this year I'm having the most difficult time picking out a costume. I think I might have even had a dream about costumes so I know it's a serious issue! I'm most excited to visit the haunted house on Friday. I said I would never do it again after I almost had to get airlifted out the last time (well, not actually) but I guess I'm a sucker for punishment. Have a great birthday!! The Boldfacer's event sounds like amazing fun. xx

  13. I so wish we celebrated Halloween here in Australia, my Poe book had a pretty terrifying man on the cover when I was younger. I'd go as that!

  14. I also love Halloween! This looks like it'll be a great time! I am in need of two costumes this year. I'm doing a 5k Halloween Fun Run on Saturday, and I'm thinking I'll go as Wonder Woman for that. My second costume will be very low key. I'm going as a Vampire Slayer, so I just need a stake.
