Miles Aldridge: Fashion in Technicolor

[Bang! Bang!, Numéro, 2008]

StumbleUpon is an amazing tool for discovering the unknown online, and now that I've begun using it, you can expect to see even more random, inspirational imagery.

First up: the photography of Miles Aldridge. I was already familiar with the name of the Brit fashion photographer who has shot features for the likes of Vogue and Numéro. But I was blown away when I stumbled upon Aldridge's website and was able to see his colorful work together in one place.

Tim Burton's inspiration for Alice in Wonderland, perhaps?
[Blooming, Vogue Italia, 2007]

I'm not-so-secretly in love with Lily Cole.
[So Poetic, Vogue Italia, 2006]

Somebody's about to piss off some Catholics.
[Imaculée, Numéro, 2007]

Life is a cabaret.
[Dance Study, Paradis, 2008]

Play between light and shadow outshines even lime green.
[Dreamy, Vogue Italia, 2009]

Don't try this at home. I once burned the ends of my bangs this way. I have since quit smoking.
[Home Works, Vogue Italia, 2008]

"See? I can work in a muted palette."
[Beauté Fatale, Numéro, 2006]

"And monochrome."

 Crazy cat lady, 'nuff said.

  4. Wow! He is an incredible talent. I was completely mesmerized by each and every shot. I didn't realize until after I finished scrolling through them that my jaw had dropped in awe. Good thing I'm not in public or people might think I'm a bit odd ha! xx
