Falling

Floreat Raining, Pouring Blouse at Anthropologie

I dropped into Anthropologie a few days ago and found the most perfect of perfect fall tops! It was tough to walk away from this one, but I can't justify buying fall clothes when the temps outside are still hovering around 90.

Heat and humidity can't stop me from lusting after all the amazingness arriving in stores, though. After the jump, all the cozy things I hope to be wearing when the leaves start to turn.

When I'm rushing to get ready for work and I don't have time to think about an outfit, I end up in one of two fall uniforms: 1) a sweater dress and tall boots or 2) skinny pants, a longish top and ankle boots.

I want some height on my shoes, but I also like to keep it casual. Wedges are my answer to this conundrum.

Purple just so happens to be my favorite color, and it's looking to be big for fall.

Plus some perfect accessories...

This "paper" bag is cheeky without being absolutely ridiculous (like the $1,960 Louis Vuitton trash bag purse).
And I know owls have jumped the shark, but I still love these little studs.

A cozy sweater that's just a little sexy and a drapey leather jacket...

And, of course, a couple of gorgeous pieces I have absolutely no need for.

I have no place to wear this dress, and no, I will not be spending $3,100 on faux fur.

And now I'm off to the pool. See you in September, clothes!
