[apologies for my god-awful photography]
I don't normally post about street style. Maybe it's a lack of inspiration in historically buttoned-up Boston. Or maybe it's that without a few drops of liquid courage I'm unlikely to ask strangers to pose for me.
Whatever the reason, this cape stopped me in my tracks on Friday night at AD 20/21. In case it's difficult to see, the collar is covered in zippers - rows and rows of zippers!
The cape's wearer says she picked it up at "some little store in New York," but I'm wondering if this is a case of downplaying expensive designer wear. Because, really, who tells a stranger in this economy that they're decked out in Comme des Garçons?
Any ideas of where this cape comes from or who makes it?
