Only Lady Gaga would have the gall to take a Sharpie to a $5,000+ Birkin bag.
She arrived in Tokyo having apparently scrawled a message to her Japanese fans on both her Hermès and her arm: “I love little monster, Tokyo love.”
The irony here is that the Birkin is probably now worth even more.
I was chatting about this today with some others. Some people were disturbed that she ruined a Birkin with a sharpie. Others didn't care, because you can do what you want with it once you own it. I honestly have no opinion. If that is how she wants to treat her Birkin, her choice!
