Back from NYFW and Distracted by Cupid

 An NYC pad by Betsey Johnson, perfect for Valentine's Day 

I know I owe you a post on the fabulous day that was the IFB conference. But I'm sorry, kiddos. You're just going to have to wait until tomorrow. I'm gathering some photos of myself in Grammy's Somali leopard coat circa 1937 (yep, I was brave enough to wear it!), but more importantly, I'm devoting the rest of the day to my Valentine.

I hope you're spending the day loving and being loved by whomever it is that enriches your life - whether that's a significant other, parent, best friend or furry friend. And I hope you know that I love you all for reading my silly blatherings!

And now for a couple special thank yous: I came home from New York last night to to my Valentine's Day swap package from MJ of Teaching in Heels, and it couldn't have been a better or more thoughtful surprise. And thank you to Elsa of Tetrahydrocannabinol (can't believe she's only 14!) for passing along her blog award to me. Now, go check out their blogs. Go on!

    A 1937 leopard coat? Oh my god this is absolute torture - I cannot WAIT to see your pics you lucky girl! I always love seeing inside pics of BJ's apartments, I remember a UK Elle Decoration editorial of an earlier decorative scheme that had me swooning - she had dresses hanging randomly everywhere, huge silk piano shawls covering doorways, blue and green walls and more colour, colour, colour!!

    Yee!! I'm so excited to hear about the conference and your time in NYC! My boyfriend and I celebrated Valentine's Day on Saturday because he has a night class that he can't miss tonight. So I'm catching up on blogs, drinking wine, baking sugar cookies and eagerly awaiting his arrival home. Happy Valentine's Day! x

    Hey girl! I hope you had a fab dinner last night! The IFB conf sounds cool - i managed to catch some of it after work, and since i'm 6 hrs ahead of NY i managed to catch a lot of it including Vahni's bits!

    I saw these pics a while ago and i just LOVE 'em! Such a fan of the Platner armchair! So retro glam!
